"During the process of rebuilding my home, after Hurricane Katrina, I decided to put down brick flooring in half of my home. I chose Old Chicago brick and wanted to keep as rustic a look as possible. I didn't want to change the look of the brick with a shine of any kind, but I knew it had to be protected. My sister found Trojan Masonry Sealer on the internet and it sounded like the perfect solution. After doing more research, I decided to give it a try. I placed my order, received it in two days and couldn't wait to get it on the floor.
The brick is in my kitchen so I was naturally concerned about possible stains from spills. My husband and I applied a generous amount by brushing it on with a paint brush. The instructions called for spraying it on, but I didn't want have to worry about cleaning or re-painting my baseboards. I gave the floor 24 hours to dry, and attempted to put another coat. It just would not take it. The floor was sealed and would not take more! I also tested a couple of bricks with the product, using coffee, grape kool-aid and catsup. No worries! This stuff is amazing. (And it's water-based! How can that be?) I honestly cannot thank you enough. I would highly recommend this product to anyone."

We purchased 15 gallons of Trojan Masonry Sealer to use on a trial bases on some of our buildings where we were having problems with water penetration through the walls. The area tested did indeed seal the buck surfaces and in a short time algae and mildew began to fall from the walls and the surface began to clean itself.

Got your "stuff", put it on Saturday, weather was fantastic--got a tree-trimming contractor with a 50' bucket truck to reach our high spots and they did the whole thing in about 6 hours and most of that was set-up time, they were fantastic. We were able to reach all the "bad" spots and you could just see those old 175 year old bricks soaking up the sealer--it was great.

With your excellent feedback last summer I ordered and used your sealer. I'm very happy with the results. It worked well. In fact, I've had a couple of paint spills on the garage floor and a couple of weeks later, they wiped right off and cleaned up very well--and it was very good 20 year [latex] paint.
